who we are

The Opposite of Hype Marketing.

Many of the business owners we work with have hired an agency before and felt something was off: the jargon, the manipulative tactics, the inflated promises, and high-pressure sales. We started Mejia Marketing to be the opposite of that.

How We Operate

Calm, honest, effective marketing for small businesses that are tired of being oversold.

No Pretense

Messaging that perfectly mirrors your operations. No exaggeration, no misleading promises, no deceptive copy. What you say is what you do, and we hold ourselves to the same standard.

ROI-First

Every budget dollar is treated as a trust. We’ll tell you our expert advice on the most valuable avenues for your business instead of trying to sell you the full package. We prioritize organic-first strategies and valuable content.

Trust & Support

No pressure, no pushy pitches. We like to talk things through, tell you what we really think, and remember that every campaign has real people on the other end. In an AI-world, we hold on to this human-first value.

Mejia Marketing

Ready when you are.

When you’re ready to talk about your website, your search rankings, or the words that bring customers through your door, book a consultation and we’ll have a real conversation about what your business needs.

If we’re a good fit, great. If we’re not, we’ll tell you that too, and we’ll point you to someone who is.

A Letter from our founder

Hi, I’m Ceniza, Founder & Lead Strategist of Mejia Marketing.

I’ve spent my career inside the work – as a copywriter for influencers, as a content manager for a wonderful marketing agency, and as a marketing director of a B2B company doing enterprise-level marketing.

I’ve seen what bad agencies do. I’ve inherited accounts where the previous agency had the wrong email on their client’s website and the wrong city on a service page (true story). I’ve untangled websites and blog content with no strategy.

I’ve also seen big agencies that promise to build brands that break the internet and chase virality at all costs. No wonder so many small business owners find digital marketing confusing, or feel like they have to go viral just to keep up.

But what about the businesses that simply want to serve their community? The clinics, the contractors, the family-run shops that don’t need a viral moment. They simply need the right people to find them.

After taking on clients through simple word of mouth because of good work, whether by accident or by fate, Mejia Marketing was born. We are for the business owners who want someone they can trust to do honest work for the business they’re proud of.

As a busy business owner, digital marketing should be one less thing off your plate. Let’s get it to the right place.

Digital marketing for small businesses

You Ask, We Answer

We do three things: websites, SEO, and content writing. We focus on these on purpose, because it sets a solid foundation where every other marketing avenue relies on.

No, and we don’t pretend to. Those are their own specialties, and they deserve someone who does them every day. If you need help there, we’re happy to point you toward people we trust.

We work best with small and local service businesses, the kind that run on reputation and word of mouth. If you care more about doing right by your customers than growing at any cost, we’ll probably get along.

There are a lot of agencies out there that focus on viral and trendy content, and that’s great for some businesses. There are other agencies out there that build big, complicated marketing packages for companies with big, complicated budgets. But we kept seeing business owners stuck in the middle, people who just needed a website that works, a way to get found on Google, and content that sounds like them. That’s the gap we fill. We work on the foundation that brings in steady, reliable customers month after month, and it doesn’t depend on whatever’s trending this week.

That depends on what we’re working on. A new website can be live in weeks, while SEO is a long game that usually takes a few months to build momentum. We’ll give you realistic timelines up front, never “page one by Friday.”

We talk about your business, your goals, and what’s working or not working right now. There’s no pitch deck and no pressure. If we can help, we’ll tell you how. If we can’t, we’ll say so and point you in the right direction. We also have an option for a paid consultation at $299. You get a full audit and 3-month strategy with keywords and content, so you know what you need to get started, even if we don’t end up working together.
